David Fraser

David Fraser has had a 37-year career in research and teaching on animal behaviour and animal welfare. Since 1997 he has been Professor in the Animal Welfare Program at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.

 He has served as a scientific advisor on animal welfare to many international organizations including the the World Organization for Animal Health (Paris) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (Rome).
