Diana Webster

Diana WebsterDiana Webster is an attorney at the Triibal Law & Policy Institute in West Hollywood, CA where she works with American Indian and Alaska Native people, tribal justice systems, victims services providers, tribal service providers, and others involved in the improvement of jutice in Indian country.  She graduated from Southwestern Law School in 2007 and then served as a law clerk at the White House Council on Environmental Quality and as an enforcement intern for the California Coastal Commission.

Prior to her legal career, she spent 20 years working for Northwest Airlines in sales and marketing where she focused on helping large corporations and travel agencies increase business and vacation sales.

Webster is deeply committed to both environmental issues and animal welfare.  She learned about CANDi after encountering a starving dog on the streets of Cancun in 2006.  Being on vacation in a foreign country, Webster felt she had no choice but to leave the dog behind.  But after a tearful night, she went back to try and rescue the dog she had named Nova.  Unfortunately, Nova was nowhere to be found. That experience has haunted Webster ever since.  She now believes that Nova came into her life to inspire her to help put an end to animal suffering.
