Richard SassoAs Managing Director of Footprint, Eryn lives by the creed of creative thinking, and infuses her philosophy on executive search with a balance of practical precedent and inventive resolution. Her clients respond accordingly to her exceptional intuition and discernment, and Eryn is consistently lauded for her results and unique understanding of the nuanced challenge of finding the right fit for organizations' unique cultures.

Her core competencies center on recruiting and placing sustainability professionals, and clients include growth-focused Southeast and national public and private-sector organizations in industries such as consumer products, technology, supply chain/ manufacturing, professional services, and retail.

An Atlanta native, Eryn started her professional career in Washington, DC as a young reporter covering Hill politics, followed by a stint in high-tech public relations with Edelman. She then joined Injoy/Maximum Impact—John Maxwell's world-class leadership organization—and helped to launch its national corporate sponsorships group. She joined Bell Oaks in January 2005 as a Search Consultant, inductively learning the executive search trade, was quickly promoted to Executive Partner in 2006 and earned her place as Partner with the firm shortly thereafter.

With the deep conviction that she could more effectively influence the greater good by serving sustainability-minded organizations, Eryn launched Footprint Talent and has in the process become a noted and frequently-requested panelist, speaker and writer on topics of talent management and talent acquisition in the sustainability niche. Eryn is a regular contributor to Environmental Leader, and the Footprint Blog is quickly becoming a virtual think-tank for sustainability minds.
