Sue UrieVP Marketing & Public Relations  Sue Urie is a 25-year veteran of the travel industry, who brings energy, contacts, and marketing expertise to CANDi. She has held many sales and marketing positions at leading airlines and tour companies, which have enabled her to travel extensively and build relationships with clients and suppliers throughout the world. In 2002, she founded a tourism marketing firm, using her expertise to build the businesses of her clientele from Canada, the United States, and Mexico, even as the events of 9/11 dramatically changed the tourism industry.
In 2006, she joined Vacation.com, North America's largest marketing organization for independent travel agencies. She serves as Vice President, Marketing and Public Relations. Urie's lifelong passion has always been animals – especially cats. She presently shares her home with three cats, two that were adopted from the SPCA and a third that she took in as a starving and injured stray. |
