Rescate Malix (Rescue Malix) is a nonprofit organization that seeks to find humane solutions to stray cat and dog overpopulation in Mexico, while also raising the standard of treatment for these animals. Rescue Malix works toward this goal by involving other animal welfare organizations, government entities, and media outlets in spreading a message of cultural change and compassion. That message is reinforced at the Rescue Educational Center, where visitors learn about responsible animal care and the importance of education, and where they come to understand that every stray animal is a living, loving, potential companion for life.
