At CANDi, we believe that all cats and dogs, no matter their pedigree or place of origin, deserve loving forever homes. CANDi and our Humane Partners are making this dream possible for stray cats and dogs that would not otherwise have this option. Animal rescue is an important part of the work being done by many of our Humane Partners. These groups rescue strays that have been abandoned on the streets and beaches ond provide them with immediate veterinary attention, food, and shelter. All reasonable steps are taken to nurse these animals to full health. Adoptable cats and dogs are housed at the facilities of our Humane Partners until arrangements can be made to find them loving homes, either locally, in Canada or the United States.
