"Saving one dog may not change the world... But surely, for that one dog... The world will change forever." – Unknown

Did you know that animals from Mexico don’t need to be quarantined prior to entering either the US or Canada?  If not, you are not alone.  Most people are not aware – but it is true!   No quarantine is required for entry into either the US or Canada, though the animal does need a certificate of health from a veterinarian issued within a week of departure. They also need a certificate proving they have been vaccinated for rabies at least 30 days before departure.  CANDi will ensure that your adopted pet has the necessary shots, that you have the necessary paperwork, and even take your adopted pet to the airport for you.

Pets do need to be accompanied if they are traveling by air.  CANDi is  working with various airlines to provide free or discounted carriage for our adopted dogs.
