As a resort employee

As a resort employee, you probably see many stray cats and dogs that approach your property in search of food, water, and the comfort of caring people.  You may even be aware of inhumane practices that are sometimes employed to rid tourist areas of stray cats and dogs.  There is a better solution and you can help.

• Encourage your employer to establish a Cat Café on the resort grounds
• Volunteer to be part of the team that maintains the Cat Café by providing food and water and ensuring that it is kept clean
• Raise awareness among your co-workers about the plight of stray animals and tell them what CANDi is doing to help
• Share your knowledge with guests;  show them how your employer is helping and tell them what they can do to help
• Organize a fundraising event with your co-workers
• Encourage your employer to participate in CANDi’s Room Key Holder program
