Jerry Kaplan was born October 23, 1940 in New York where he’s lived all his life. After high school, he served in the American Army for 6 months in active duty. Following his graduation from New York University with a degree in accounting, Jerry worked in a public accounting firm for a few years, then switched to private accounting and became controller of operations. In 1966 he became Assistant to the Treasurer at the second oldest pharmaceutical company in the US and in 1970 he became the youngest treasurer in the history of the company. In 1977 Jerry started his own accounting practice, in the last 30 years he has built it into a successful business consulting firm.
Jerry has been involved with an international charity for over 28 years. This charity raises in excess of 40 million dollars per year. He has served as National Treasurer for 10 years and Executive Vice President for 4 years.
