Resort hotels commonly experience over population of cats on premises, which is annoying for employees, guests and sometimes evokes health concerns. To humanely address this issue, WSPA (World Society for the Protection of Animals) has developed a concept called the "Cat Café".

As a tourist, when you visit countries around the world you can influence how cats and dogs are treated. It might seem like it is having very little effect but imagine the power of hundreds of thousands of tourists over the next 10 years, all over the world.
