The Solution lays with tourism itself: whether it’s through the enormous corporate power of the tourism industry or through the individual impact of tourists who come to understand this terrible problem we think that incredible change can happen.

The goal is clear: CANDi will be on the front lines of this fight against the inhumane treatment of cats and dogs. Through tourism we will financially support spay and neuter programs and work tirelessly to control pet overpopulation.

It is not for lack of people in these countries struggling to establish effective, affordable spay and neuter programs – it is for lack of money to maintain consistent, sustainable programs. Tourists and the tourism industry can do something about it. It is possible to have an incredible impact on this problem if we can all work closely together.
